"One never notices what has been done; one can only see what remains to be done." -- Marie Curie

This quote would fit today! Everyone scrambling to get the final touches done before they present. Funny how it's always the same in every class, even as teachers we find ourselves rethinking if the work accomplished or completed is done correctly. This is every student's life cycle. As for mine, it is just the beginning! Sure wish I am almost done or half way at least like the rest of you.

Thank you once again for your acquaintance and your great ideas. It was a pleasure being in class with such a wonderful team!

Good luck to all of you and I hope to share a class with you again!

My tool belt

There are so many Internet teaching tools to utilize that have many features to fit to your needs; you just have to find the one that fits the purpose. I have tried and looked at the whole list of internet tools on the list; but these three resources have what it takes to enhance my world of teaching. The three tools sites that I have chosen are google docs, engrade, and rcampus.

Google docs is my first choice because of its versatility and its virtual chat room. Google docs features consist of creating documents, spreadsheets, real time sharing, security of your documents, and examples to follow if you need help. This site popped on the screen for me because my students would be able to chat and share their work while they edit another of their classmates' work without having to email each group member before it all happens. The examples are a great plus because new learners like myself need that visual display to better understand the concept; for myself and my students this feature will be extremely handy. I definitely can use this tool to improve and add on to the team building in my classroom and out.

Rcampus was next on my list of choices but that does not mean that it is less in value than the first. Rcampus was the classroom management tool source I had used for my previous assignment, and I loved it. It fits well with the lessons that I create and is tremendously easy to learn how to use. I was able to upload different kinds of document files like word, PDF, and even video clips. This web tool can provide more opportunities for my students when they are absent from class and for more clarification or practice. Basically, this tool is great for out of the class learning and getting them on track.

Engrade, the name says it all! I have used Engrade before and used it as a communication portal between myself, parents, and my students. They may view their progress in class as often as I would post the current grades. The parents can communicate with me through this site as well as the students. This site is great to keep them posted before and after progress reports and report card season.

So in conclusion these sites each serve a different objective. Engrade manages my progress reports and grades, Rcampus is my lesson plan portfolio, and Google docs as my behavioral and social interaction activity tool box.
